No. The Court (not the deceased person) gives authority to administer an estate. The court’s authority only extends to people living within the province so an administrator has to live in the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador. Letters of Administration will only be issued if the administrator files an administration bond with the Court, unless a judge has dispensed with the bond.
